sideboard

We have been making credenza’s (or sideboards as we like to call them) for our clients for a long time. Often these are supplementary products to our table ranges and we match colours veneers and leg details.

As they have always turned out so well we have decided to launch the naughtone sideboard as a product in its own right.

Any colour.

Any size.

Optional veneer
panels or complete veneer sideboards.

Optional decorative tops
in marble, painted glass, corian, or a material of your choice.

see the wood

Here is a sneak preview of our viv chair with a beautiful solid oak stacking base. This will be officially launched in September but we are taking enquiries now and we are very excited about it!

Viv-wood is the first in a series of new products we will be launching in good old wood. Keep an eye out for them over the coming months or have a look at other woody options hiding in our range (audrey stool, hush with oak legs, clyde with oak legs.)

And the winner is….

Title: And the winner is…

A massive congratulations to Craig Meadows (edge architecture and design), who has been selected at random from hundreds of entrants as the winner of our Oliver Sweeney competition! A beautiful tattooed pinch stool and a gorgeous pair of tattooed Sweeneys worth a combined £800 are winging their way to you.

For those of you wondering what all the fuss is about, we got involved with Oliver Sweeney’s Sweeney Shoe Tattoo, which saw the iconic British shoe designer transform its seven stores, as well as Selfridges’ Men’s Shoe Departments, into pop up tattoo parlours, by supplying the furniture so that shoppers could relax in style while they had their shoes tattooed.  People came in their droves to have their new Sweeneys personalised by the company’s expert tattooists, whether this was with a tattoo to the upper leather of the shoe, or more discretely to the leather sole.

Enjoy your new leather goodies, Craig!

Win Oliver Sweeney and naughtone

SORRY THIS COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSED!

Iconic British shoe designer, Oliver Sweeney, is transforming its seven stores, as well as Selfridges’ Men’s Shoe Departments into pop up tattoo parlours. They’re not asking you to ignore your mum’s advice though, as it’s actually their shoes they’re tattooing as part of its ‘walk your own path’ mantra. We think that’s pretty cool, and decided to get involved by supplying the furniture for the pop up parlours so that discerning shoppers can relax in style while they get their shoes tattooed.

The Sweeney Shoe Tattoo parlour started at the Selfridges Oxford Street store, and was so popular that Selfridges Birmingham decided to get in on the action. All seven Oliver Sweeney stores, including its brand new premises at Covent Garden, will also be housing the tattoo parlours from early November, so join them to personalise your new Sweeneys with a shoe tattoo by its expert tattooists and make your shoes truly unique. Tattoos can be added to the upper leather of the shoe, or more discretely to the leather sole if understated individuality is more your thing.

To celebrate our collaboration with Oliver Sweeney’s Shoe Tattoo parlours, we’re giving one lucky person the chance to win an exclusive piece of naughtone furniture and a smart pair of Sweeneys – both of which will be tattooed up to create a one-of-a-kind prize. With the naughtone leather pinch stool retailing at £465 and a pair of Sweeneys worth up to £300, you could be the proud owner of almost £800 worth of tattooed leather goodies. Nice.

All you need to do to enter is to email katie@refreshpr.co.uk with the answer to the following question:

Where is Oliver Sweeney’s brand new store?

a) Spinningfields, Manchester

b) Covent Garden, London

c) Victoria Quarter, Leeds

Please note that entering via email acts as consent to be added to the naughtone and Oliver Sweeney mailing lists, so we may email you our newsletter from time to time. Don’t worry, it’s not long and makes a pretty good read!

OnOffice

We had a fantastic Day in June when James from OnOffice magazine came to visit us all at naughtone. So much so we almost forgot to tell James about naughtone! On a serious note we’d like to say thanks to James for taking the time to come up t’North and writing a great article about what we have been up to for the last few years.

If you’d like to read the full article you can see it in the current issue of OnOffice magazine (issue 55 August 2011) or read it online by clicking here.
